Happy Birthday, Tom Cruise!

Fifty-one. You can't believe it, can you?

No, he isn’t the greatest Hollywood actor, but last I checked, he IS the highest-paid. And for all we know, he may be one of the greatest Hollywood actors still alive, but hey, how much does that mean this day in age?

I think it’s a bit ironic that the guy who took a starring role in Born on the Fourth of July was actually born on the third of July, but anyway:

Tom Cruise is 51 today. If he can use football management to reach the woman of his dreams (that’s what I got out of Jerry Maguire, at least), then he could probably fit 51 candles on a birthday cake, as impossible as that sounds. A happy birthday to him.

    • Well if you’re that close with Tom Cruise’s movies, my suggestion would be to get them done with. From what I’ve heard, both are decent, but not great by any standards. Legend is directed by Ridley Scott, so there’s probably some surprises. Far and Away is Ron Howard, so you’d probably have some expectations of that, too.

I wish I could speak for either one, but I can’t. Sorry.
